As an Individual Life & Health Processing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales agents with new and renewal business.

Here's a glimpse of what your exciting responsibilities will entail:

  • Corresponding with agents to obtain information or keep them informed of account status or changes.
  • Attaching letters from insureds, original insurance applications, and other company documents
  • Modifying, updating, and processing existing policies to reflect requested changes, EFT status, coverage amounts, or insurance types.
  • Ensuring Account Managers are promptly notified of any cancellations.
  • Processing and recording new insurance policies and changes.
  • Verifying and updating client data, such as age, name, address, etc., on insurance applications and policies.
  • Maintaining updated client files in Epic, our industry-leading software.
  • Working closely with carriers to process applications, changes, cancellations, and more.

To thrive in this role, here's what we're looking for:

  • While knowledge of the insurance industry and carriers is preferred, it's not necessary.
  • Experience with Applied Systems Epic software is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software suite and general computing tasks.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in the insurance industry or related field (i.e., carrier and/or underwriter side).
  • Holding an Insurance License is a significant advantage, however, if you don't have one, don't worry! We'll help you obtain it within 90 days of employment, and the cost is on us.
