Job Overview
The University of Dubuque is a growing faith based University that is seeking a Graduate Assistant for Aviation Recruiting in the Office of Admission for the 2023-2024 term, with a potential renewal for 2024-2025.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct tours at the Ed Babka Aviation Learning Center, and the flight line
- Support the campus visit program to include individual and group visits (giving campus tours)
- Make Phone calls to prospective aviation students to generate interest
- Follow-up by phone, email, text with applied aviation students
- Represent, and promote University of Dubuque Aviation at various events
- Assist with office of admission administrative tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University’s Mission
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required (Aviation discipline is preferred), and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters’ program
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills; both orally and written
- Ability to dress and act professionally
- Flexibility and availability to work scheduled times Monday - Saturday
All graduate tuition is waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA. In return for a waiver of tuition, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week.
