Job Overview
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end warranty claim process for heavy trucks and trailers, including claim submission, documentation, credit entry and follow-up.
- Review warranty claims for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to manufacturer guidelines and policies.
- Liaise with each shop location and road assist to gather necessary information and supporting documentation for warranty claims.
- Communicate with dealerships, and manufacturers to resolve warranty-related inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate warranty records and documentation, including claim files, parts information, credit memos and checks.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to facilitate warranty claim processing and resolve any disputes or discrepancies.
- Monitor warranty trends and analyze data to identify potential issues or opportunities for process improvement.
- Stay updated on warranty policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to heavy truck and trailer systems and components.
- Assist in training dealership personnel on warranty claim procedures and requirements.
Talent Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in automotive or heavy truck technology is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warranty Administrator or similar role within the heavy truck industry is also a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal teams, dealerships, and others.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
