Sales/Estimator

Cascade Lumber Company, a family owned lumber yard, has been providing high quality building materials in Eastern Iowa since 1953.

We are seeking an experienced Salesperson/Estimator to assist customers with their building material needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Answering inquiries and product questions
• Reviewing plans and generating material lists/estimates for projects such as homes, additions, garages, decks, remodels, agricultural buildings, and light commercial buildings
• Generating sales/purchase documentation for special order items
• Following projects through completion to ensure customer satisfaction

Preferred qualifications

• One or more years of related experience
• Familiarity with the construction industry and building materials
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings
• AUTOCAD experience or ability to learn
• Detail orientated with strong organizational skills
• High School degree or equivalent

Pay Scale: $55,000 - $80,000 Depending on Qualifications
