SUMMARY:
Role applies practical supply chain knowledge to identify, analyze, and solve problems. Implements and supports continuous improvement and business process change.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in supply chain projects, with consideration to the entire supply chain (plan, source, make, deliver)
Optimizes supply planning parameters that align with business requirements for service and inventory, including coordination of services and material to match production demands.
Review material usage trends and provide insights to Sourcing and Business Units
Analyze opportunities for improved inventory accuracy and partnership with Manufacturing Operations
Evaluate MRP and KANBAN levels on a regular cycle to address adjustments to Safety Stock Levels and Minimum Order Quantity in partnership with Sourcing.
Identifies supply chain problem areas and drives improvement in service, reduce cost, and increase inventory turns, utilizing supply chain and lean tools.
Train in new Planners and Analyst on Andersen Supply Chain Process Standards
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or Information Systems is preferred and 3-5 years of supply chain experience.
Experience as a buyer is required.
Experience with MRP and changing parameters and settings is essential.
Working knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, data mining, and data reporting
Excellent communication skills
Ability to dig into systems, extract data, analyze that data and then make recommendations is required.
Seeks to understand customer needs in detail and works to satisfy them.
Strong computer skills with experience in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Prior experience working in a manufacturing or manufacturing supplier environments.
Developing knowledge of creating reports and dashboards in PowerBI
Experience with material and/or inventory planning
Experience training supply chain concepts to analysts and planners
SALARY INFORMATION:

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
