POSITION TITLE:    Production Shop Technician and Driver

STATUS:                   Full-Time Permanent Position, Hourly Wage

Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Vanguard Enterprises, Inc. is a well-established and growing countertop (laminate, solid surface, granite) and commercial cabinet manufacturer based in Dubuque, Iowa.  Vanguard manufactures a wide range of customized products for small and large-scale applications throughout the Midwest.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• Well skilled in use of basic hand and power tools, table saws, CNC routers, and other industrial equipment.
• Production experience helpful.
• Valid Driver’s License with clear driving record
• Experience in woodworking and laminate preferred.
• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, solid surface and granite production techniques.
• Attention to detail and pride in work.
• Responsible self-starter eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions.
• Hourly Pay to be determined based on skills and experience.

Reports to Production Manager and VP.

Able to safely load and drive the company box truck or pickup truck with trailer for product deliveries and material pickup.
