POSITION SUMMARY
Works closely with the Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations to effectively build relationships with the community at the local and regional level.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Establish and maintain brand positioning and build brand equity:
- Represent Loras College at key community functions.
- Participate in and represent Loras College at government and legislative functions, meetings and/or engagements.
- Initiate and maintain strategic relationships with businesses, corporations, and not-for-profit organizations.
- Promote and facilitate partnerships with the same above-referenced organizations.
- Serve as the primary conduit for administering the advancement of Loras College's academic initiatives.
- Promote and secure strategic sponsorships for a broad array of offerings at Loras College.
- Serve as the liaison for corporate/college partnerships to include all details related to academic initiatives.
- Supports the mission and vision of the College and respects its Catholic tradition.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's degree required in English, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
Experience: A minimum of two to three years of public relations or marketing communications experience.
Other Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work and to manage multiple projects. Knowledge of modern office methods and equipment. Knowledge of good human relation practices. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, students, alumni, and other external constituencies of the College.
