Job Overview
The Marketing/Graphic Designer is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing targets. Specific responsibilities include providing materials for business and market development in all marketing channels; maintaining integrity of all McCoy Group brands; and coordination with sales staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):
- Creates designs for print, email marketing, web, and video to sell McCoy Group products and services.
- Develops print project creation, including sales flyer/brochures, trade show materials, banners and display materials, cards, and newsletters.
- Provides creative headline and ad copywriting.
- Prepares presentations to explain the Company’s current and future strategies.
- Interaction with internal and external customers in a positive, professional manner.
- Maintains the company’s image and brands in a professional manner on all projects and in all situations.
- Ensures all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.
- Provides web site and intranet updating as well as video and photo editing.
- Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all projects.
- Other duties as required and assigned.
- Maintain regular onsite attendance (Dubuque, Iowa) as scheduled.

Education, Skills and Knowledge required:
- Proven ability and willingness to learn transportation/trucking/forestry industry products and services.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, employees, administrators, and the public.
- Knowledge of applications of: Mac software, Adobe Creative Suite software, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro and proficient with other applications such as iMovie, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of the internet, website design, and e-mail marketing.
