The Industrial Engineer Internship will begin in May and end in December 2024.
The Industrial Engineer Internship will assist with projects relative to material handling and storage systems in our Operations. They will assist in process flow analysis, engineered labor standards, and the use of quantitative analysis techniques. In addition, you will be responsible for:
• Developing and installing labor measurement techniques
• Gaining knowledge of all operations functions and completing process analysis and improvement ideas
• Assisting with implementation and maintaining our Labor Management system used for Incentive Based Pay
This role requires highly driven individuals with the ability to learn and use packaged software applications (WMS/LMS). Ideally you will be working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related major. In addition, internship applicants must:
• Be at least Junior or Senior standing, recent graduates may be considered
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Possess the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Be able to analysis and define problems and implement change
• Be capable of performing time studies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred (bilingual interns are eligible for a $500 bonus at the completion of their internship!)
This position is not eligible for remote work and would require you to work onsite at our Sun Prairie Fulfillment Center in Sun Prairie, WI for the duration of your internship.
