Job Overview

Build your own wood flooring business in the Midwest and East Coast.  Prime Supply/Crestwood Flooring is a well-established wood flooring manufacturer with a line of quality products that have a proven track record in the market.  Now we need someone to help expand our successful business.

Based out of our Dubuque, Iowa office and warehouse facility the right candidate is someone with the drive and intelligence to build their own business.  Prime Supply will give you all the tools; great products, marketing and sales support, a logistics and admin team, to succeed.

Responsibilities:

Build and call on new distribution and retail accounts in the Midwest and East Coast

Attend, set up/tear down Flooring trade shows like Surfaces, NWFA, NAFCD, FAN, etc.

Create all branded assets: photography, swatches, samples, product description and spec, displays, etc.

Represent Crestwood direct to retailers in the Midwest and Northeast outside of some territories

Order entry – confirmations to customers, PO’s to factory, manage consignment orders

Order invoicing and order tracking – running weekly reports, tracking down shipments

Container and order updates – send packing lists, track inbound containers

Inventory management – update customers, manage company inventory levels

Product launch support – new product development, manage and track samples

Claims and credit processing

Requirements:

Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

Ability to grasp and implement the procedures and processes of the company

Be able to communicate effectively with overseas offices, factories, and logistics teams

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Computer use competency

Travel 40%-50%

Experience with the flooring business beneficial

Degree useful but not essential
