The Account Manager role is an important customer facing role working from our Brokerage division office in Dubuque, IA, and has the following job duties:

Daily tasks:

• Communication with customers and carrier reps.
• Maintaining high KPI scores that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Managing a current book of business of existing customers while also working on adding additional organic customers.
• Staying up to date with current market rates, trends, industry news and weather.
• Building shipments, setting pick up and delivery appointments as needed.
• Bid on spot shipments, complete RFPs and SOPs for customers.

Preferred Requirements:

• College Degree.
• Logistics & customer service experience.

Required Skills:

• Ability to multi-task, work in a team environment, organized and self-motivated.
• Ability to be in office full time.
• Basic word and excel knowledge.
