Construction Foreman

Job Overview

Position Overview: The Construction Foreman will work closely with the superintendent and project manager to oversee construction projects and ensure their successful completion.

 Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising and coordinating construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignment.
• Learn and follow safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
• Assist in coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor project progress, reporting any issues or concerns to senior management.
• Assist in managing construction materials and equipment, ensuring they are utilized efficiently and effectively.
• Learn and implement construction techniques and best practices under the guidance of experienced foremen.
• Participate in training and mentorship programs to develop leadership and technical skills.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and material inventories.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any questions or concerns.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to learn and develop skills in the construction industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and techniques is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and outdoor conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
