Come join the Bodine Human Resources Team as a Human Resources Coordinator!

The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for administering benefit programs and supports other human resources activities.  This position administers various employee benefit programs to include enrollments and terminations, employee inquiries, calculation of monthly premiums resolving discrepancies with carrier representatives.  Assists with the implementation of new benefit programs; arranges and conducts employee information presentations and enrollments.  Processes leave of absence approvals and rejections, including; vacation, personal leaves, bereavement, jury duty etc.) Maintains the HRIS Database and personnel files to include address changes, status changes, new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and training records. Verifies timesheets for accuracy, calculates adjustments, and tracks and implements pay increases for payroll processing.  Reviews attendance reports for corrective action. Performs challenging clerical duties and various projects for the Director of Human Resources and top management.  Participates in the planning, coordinates misc. activities to foster a positive working environment, and takes an active role in creating a safe and healthy work environment.  Responds to inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and programs.  Displays a professional image to internal and external customers.   Follows established procedures for record retention and maintaining organized files.

 

Skill Set

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 3 or more years of Human Resource related experience preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Must be organized and reliable, able to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Must possess good leadership skills including self-motivation, self-direction, and basic problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to interpret employment regulations and applicable wage laws.
