On the job training
Responsibilities (Determined by Hours per week)
- Cook caramel candy
- Work on chocolate coating crew: squiggle chocolate coated caramels, catch candy coming off conveyer belt, prepare caramel candy for coating; possibly temper chocolate
- Package candy
- Shrink wrap boxes
- Pour mint candies
- Assist with maintenance related to production
Qualifications
- Physical strength, focus and coordination – able to lift 50 lbs, work at high-speed candy machines for an uninterrupted 75 minutes
- Team player – able to work well with others
- Flexibility and adaptability required for doing a variety of jobs
- Comfortable working in a quiet environment
