Job Overview

Title of Job Candy Production Assistant

 

20 to 30 hours per week with possibility of becoming full time

 

On the job training

 

Responsibilities (Determined by Hours per week)

  • Cook caramel candy
  • Work on chocolate coating crew: squiggle chocolate coated caramels, catch candy coming off conveyer belt, prepare caramel candy for coating; possibly temper chocolate
  • Package candy
  • Shrink wrap boxes
  • Pour mint candies

 

Qualifications

  • Physical strength, focus and coordination — able to lift 20 - 50 lbs, work at high-speed candy machines for an uninterrupted 75 minutes
  • Team player — able to work well with others
  • Flexibility and adaptability required for doing a variety of jobs
  • Comfortable working in a quiet environment
