Job Title: District Manager

Location: Dubuque, IA

Overview: Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a District Manager to oversee multiple store locations, ensuring high standards in appearance, customer service, sales, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support store managers and associates in maintaining brand standards
• Develop processes for inventory flow and execution of brand initiatives
• Conduct regular follow-ups with store management on training and development
• Achieve sales, shrink expenses, and income goals
• Analyze store sales and improve the customer shopping experience
• Implement policies and procedures, prioritize responsibilities, and ensure adherence
• Mentor underperforming stores to meet company expectations
• Maintain brand appearance and merchandising standards
• Manage discontinued merchandise control and shrinkage
• Evaluate inventory preparation and management performance
• Maintain acceptable associate turnover levels
• Ensure customer satisfaction through training and addressing complaints
• Work on budgets, P&L, and report results to senior management
• Perform yearly performance evaluations and necessary discipline
• Mentor and develop store managers and assistant managers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Store Management or Store Operations
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to travel, including overnight stays

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of retail financial metrics and P&L
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret planogram schematics
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and business ethics
