What You’ll Do
As a Safety Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining our corporate safety and security programs. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all facilities adhere to our safety, security, and accident reduction protocols. You will proactively identify opportunities for safety enhancements and collaborate across departments to develop effective control mechanisms. Your key duties will include:
• Coordinating the development and implementation of corporate safety and security policies
• Creating and delivering comprehensive safety training programs
• Establishing standardized audit processes based on established safety systems
• Conducting thorough accident investigations and managing follow-up on targeted claims
• Reviewing and creating job hazard analysis forms, equipment procedures, and lockout/tagout procedures
• Actively participating in department and corporate safety committees to promote our safety culture
• Traveling to various facilities to support and enhance departmental safety efforts and initiatives
Qualifications
We are seeking a strong team player who excels at fostering cohesive working relationships with customer groups, driving engagement, and achieving outstanding results. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or a related discipline, along with 1+ years of experience in Safety or Security roles. Additionally, we are looking for someone with:
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others
• A strong mechanical aptitude to understand maintenance and operations functions
• Proficiency in delivering tactical training content and conducting safety orientations
• Strong research and investigative skills
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
