JOB DESCRIPTION:

Be the change you want to see!  The Dubuque Community YMCA is seeking an experienced program leader to continue the successfulness of our programs at our current facility at 35 N. Booth Street, as well as our Union Park location at 11764 John F Kennedy Rd.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Complete program oversight and management of assigned areas of two YMCA locations, (Booth Street and Union Park) with the main focus on programming.  Position will provide supervision and leadership for the following departments: Aquatics, Swim Team, Sports, Family Services, Creative Arts, Day Camp, and Sky Tours Zipline.  This position is focused on staff development, revenue development, community relations, innovation, collaboration, providing excellent service to our members and participants, supporting all programs and services to achieve the organizational mission, and its annual budgets and goals. Position reports to the Chief Executive Officer. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in staff development, budget accountability, program development, community involvement, member-centered customer service and retention, as well as being a people oriented individual with a focus on improving member experience. 

Preferred candidate should have experience working with diverse populations and general operations. Candidate must possess the ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever changing, demanding environment.
