Customer Support and Fleet Uptime Manager

Job Overview

Truck Country, one of the largest Freightliner dealerships, in the US, has an opening for Customer Support and Fleet Uptime Manager at our office in Dubuque, IA.

The Customer Support and Fleet Uptime Manager will support the functions within the Fleet Uptime group to help provide our fleet customers additional support to move their downed trucks through the repair process by providing the external support needed to the repairing facilities. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Support Fleet customers to get their equipment back on the road when they breakdown
• Phone calls to locate parts, track and communicate action plans
• Potential leadership collaborating with key customers
• Potential to lead meetings and site visits
• Some after-hours/weekend support may be needed to support customers’ needs
• Other duties, as assigned

Job requirements include:

• Technical/heavy duty truck mechanical experience is not required, but would be beneficial
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to think logically, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
• Computer Skills-Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to manage confidential information professionally
• Mechanical knowledge, a plus.
• Auto or dealership department knowledge, a plus.
