POSITION SUMMARY
As part of the marketing leadership team, works to establish and maintain brand positioning and build brand equity, strategically plan and project manage all marketing and advertising initiatives. This includes but is not limited to enhancing the brand image and facilitating engagement with Loras' diverse client base, including alumni, donors, parents, community members, and current and prospective students, and effectively build public relationships with the community on a local and regional basis. Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Manage internal communication to college community. Promote engagement of the College community with local, regional and discipline-based communities (National Associations).

Establish and maintain brand positioning and build brand equity:
- Create, plan, and implement strategic marketing initiatives that elevate the brand.
- Ensure all vendors/contractors are aligned with brand positioning.
- Create community-wide resources to aid in understanding the brand.
- Monitor use of applications to ensure maintenance of brand equity.
Website Management:
- Collaborate with team to track social media, e-mail, and digital advertising campaigns using Google Analytics and other tools as appropriate.
- Work with leadership to identify and implement the most compelling ad imagery & copy, home page & landing page features, and space allocation.
- Maintain consistent content, data, and branding across all online marketing.
- Assess online media needs and identify opportunities to strengthen marketing efforts.
- Investigate new technology and enhancements that can increase brand awareness and improve overall customer experience.
- Work with leadership to continuously improve the online experience.
- Assist in development and operation of web site presence related to e-commerce opportunities for the College.
Institutional Communications & Project Management:
- Monitor and evaluate overall communication plans for the College, consistent with the strategic plan.
- Plan and develop internal communication strategies related to events and issues as they arise.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop and deploy email templates using Mailchimp.
- Manage day-to-day work such as development of creative assets, project budgets and timelines.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Experience: Minimum 4 years experience in marketing, with a focus on e-commerce and technical marketing.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, AdWords), Wordpress, and CRM systems.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively and write for various platforms both long and short form.
Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
Creative Thinking: Innovative mindset with the ability to think creatively and strategically to drive marketing initiatives.
Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer behavior and the ability to create marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences.
