Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

Overview:
Join a local company's team as a Lead Estimator where you will guide an estimating team or work independently to develop responsive proposals for both simple and complex bid requests. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate estimates and successful project awards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the estimating team in creating proposals for bids.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes for alignment with contractor bid documents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, general contractors, and clients.
• Communicate, present, and negotiate with construction managers and subcontractors to secure business.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, specifications, and cost factors for construction estimates.
• Analyze precast projects open for bidding and present project schedules in reports.
• Facilitate management bid reviews and conduct site visits as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience estimating government, commercial, and retail projects, including estimating and purchasing activities.
• Proven track record as the lead on project bid awards and successful purchasing.
• Strong ability to establish and build client relationships.
