The Health, Wellness and Behavioral Sciences Department invites applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position in Psychology with a start date in August 2025. Rank is negotiable based upon experience. We are especially interested in candidates who can teach some counseling and/or clinical content area courses, like Theories of Counseling & Psychotherapy and Abnormal Psychology. The successful candidate will teach a variety of other psychology courses depending on background and experience. The typical teaching load is 24 credits per academic year or 12 credits per semester (4 courses),
Qualifications
A doctorate in clinical and/or counseling psychology is preferred, a master’s degree in a field of psychology is required. Candidates with a background in Clinical or Counseling Psychology as well as teaching will be given preference. The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a Catholic university with a strong sense of community that is firmly grounded in the liberal arts tradition and committed to the values of education, justice, charity, and freedom.
