Pay: $20/hour (until certified & licensed)
Schedule: Full-Time, First Shift (40 hours/week)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Shop Technician to service and maintain portable fire extinguishers for walk-in customers at a local company's shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with their service needs.
• Educate customers on product capabilities and safety standards.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
• Lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
• Complete inspection paperwork for compliance.
• Perform inspections and routine maintenance on extinguishers.
• Clean and recharge extinguishers with approved materials.
• Inspect and repair extinguishers using hand tools and testing equipment.
• Maintain and recharge CO2 cylinders.
• Conduct hydro-testing on low/high pressure cylinders.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Training is provided and paid for.
