Clarke University, Department of Nursing and Health is a growing program, dedicated to serving the tristate area community and beyond. We are committed to excellence in education, research, and practice. This well-established nursing department offers BSN and DNP programs of study. Our area health care systems such as MercyOne and UnityPoint Finley provide opportunities for collaboration.

The university seeks a full-time tenure-track faculty member to teach in our Undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, beginning in August 2025. Class content will be delivered face-to-face. Clinical teaching is expected. The ideal candidate will have a doctorate in nursing or a related field. We will also consider those with master’s degrees in nursing with the understanding that the individual will need to complete a doctoral degree to secure promotion and tenure. The position requires a board-certified state nursing license and at least 5 years of hands-on nursing care in Medical/Surgical nursing. Teaching experience is preferred.
