Accountant/Office Manager
Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking an Accountant/Office Manager with 3+ years of experience for a local company in Dubuque, IA.
Position Overview: We are looking for a Senior Accountant to provide financial support to a local company's team. The successful candidate will prepare and analyze financial statements, maintain accounting records, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for problem-solving are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage long-term client relationships.
- Review financial statements.
- Collaborate with the Implementation team daily.
- Oversee client onboarding with proper project management.
- Work with the Chief Visionary to advance practice growth and serve clients.
- Ensure compliance with payroll filings, financial reporting, and education requirements.
- Prepare and/or review corporate and individual tax returns.
- Manage interns' workload and address their questions.
- Coordinate workflow with the Administrative team.
- Answer calls positively and assist clients with a great experience.
Requirements:
- 3 years of tax and accounting experience required; auditing skills a plus.
- 4-year degree required; CPA desired (assistance available for CPA designation).
- Proficiency in email and Microsoft Office.
- Strong relational skills, patience, and a desire to work directly with clients.
- Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excitement to grow, learn, and do more.
- Trustworthy, reliable, professional, and a self-starter.
- Strong organizational skills.
Compensation:
- $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
