St. Columbkille Catholic Elementary School in Dubuque, Iowa, is seeking a classroom associate to join our team! This 9-month position (school year only) will begin in the 2025-2026 school year. The role is full-time, but we are open to considering part-time candidates as well.

Classroom associates play a vital role in supporting teachers and students. They help create a positive, nurturing, and structured learning environment while reinforcing classroom instruction. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the teacher in delivering instruction and supporting student learning
• Providing small-group and one-on-one support to reinforce lessons
• Maintaining a calm, encouraging, and firm approach to classroom management
• Supporting students with re-teaching and reinforcing activities guided by the teacher
• Assisting with morning supervision, lunchroom duty, and bus duty (some duties may extend beyond the school day)
• Upholding strong communication skills and confidentiality in all interactions

We offer a starting wage of $16.00 per hour. The following benefits are also available to full-time employees:
