JOB SUMMARY
As a Junior Project Manager, you will assist our customers as they begin or continue their journey with Cartegraph, as well as the Project Management team. You will lead and assist with implementation project management tasks, such as customer coordination, resource scheduling, timeline, and documentation creation and updates. You will also coordinate with internal experts to support you and our customers while managing timelines and budgets.
THE WORK YOU WILL DO
- You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the Project Management team where you’ll get hands on experience and learn all aspects of a customer implementation.
- Assist with all aspects (resources, timing, tasks, deliverables) of the customer’s project.
- Assist with helping customers refine goals into measurable, actionable deliverables.
- Simultaneously understand and support the customer’s strategic and tactical requirements.
- Assist with project related deliverables including presentations, project plans, timelines, meeting minutes, status reports, risk registers, and any other deliverables required to ensure a successful implementation.
- Maintain a sense of urgency to minimize project timelines and delays that prevent customers from achieving their goals and receiving value as soon as possible.
- Maintain up-to-date information in CRM and project management application.
- Maintain visibility of project tasks and effort while reviewing and approving resource time entries.
- Manage scope creep while balancing customer success, project budget, and schedule.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews technical publications, articles, and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in industry and works toward continuous quality improvement.
- May staff company booth or exhibit at trade shows and industry events.
- Attends meetings as scheduled.
- Performs miscellaneous related duties as requested by management.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Education and Experience
- Four-year degree in an applicable field OR a two-year degree with at least 2 years of experience with project management and client service delivery.
- Looking to pursue PMP (or similar) certification.
Skills and Attributes
- Demonstrated focus on self-learning and ongoing development.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, yet openly seeks expert advice when appropriate.
- Self-motivation in learning and expanding technical skills.
- Sense of urgency when working with customers and responding to clients in a timely manner.
- Ability to effectively listen to a customer and understand initial needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey a message through inspiration and influence.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and successfully manage multiple deadlines.
