Clarke University is searching for an Assistant Director of Residence Life. The Assistant Director is a full-time, 12-month, live-in professional who is responsible for assisting in the coordination of the residence life program. The position includes support for: training and supervision of Resident Assistant (RA) staff, hall programming, student development, policy enforcement, student conduct, and emergency on-call rotation. The Assistant Director will join a team that strives to provide a living environment that builds strong community among resident students, is conducive for academic success and personal growth, and supports the mission of the university.

This is a full-time, twelve-month, live-in position with participation in the residence hall emergency on-call rotation. Remuneration includes salary, University benefits and a one-bedroom apartment on campus. Review of resumes will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in college student personnel or related field preferred; event planning experience and demonstrated leadership skills required, strong organizational skills, a collaborative working style, high energy, good interpersonal skills and the desire to work in a small, Catholic college environment is preferred.  Experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds on a college campus is a preferred.
