Do you have school, a day job, or just want to make money while you sleep? Then this is job for you!

Area Residential Care (ARC) is seeking a DSP that wants to make a difference in peoples' lives. We support individuals with intellectual disabilities, and the direct support professional staff play a role in making sure those individuals live as independently as possible.

The Night Monitor will be a sleep shift position, but will assist our individuals if needed and will also help them get up in the morning. We have part time and full time positions open.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to lift / transfer 20 to 50 pounds
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 6 month's consecutive work experience

Area Residential Care is a private, non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization, created in 1968 by a group of parents and other interested parties. Its mission is to empower people with intellectual disabilities to achieve their highest quality of life. From its inception, Area Residential Care’s purpose has been to provide community-based services for persons with intellectual disabilities. The organization has grown over the past 40 years to serve an average of 250-275 people with disabilities annually; providing residential, vocational, and day services in Dubuque and Dyersville communities.
