Occupational Therapist – Outpatient Pediatrics – Full Time – Days

MercyOne Outpatient Therapy has an immediate need for a full-time physical therapist in our Dubuque clinic.  Position is 35 hours per week Monday through Friday with the ability to pick up extra hours inpatient acute as desired. 

Our ideal candidate is a motivated, independent, and confident physical therapist that has been in a pediatric therapy setting, either in their graduate clinicals or professional experience. Our physical therapy caseload varies, with diagnoses ranging from torticollis, gait impairment, developmental delay, and neurological conditions.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• experience in a pediatric outpatient setting either in a graduate clinical or professional setting
• a passion for working in a pediatric outpatient clinic
• a motivation to grow the pediatric program through collaboration with interdisciplinary team and referral sources
• a good attitude towards one's work and one's colleagues
• Ability to also treat outpatient adults

Registration through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NCBOT)

Bachelor’s Degree Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) by the State of Iowa to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
