Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Lancaster, WI

Job Overview

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide services at our pediatric outpatient therapy clinic in Lancaster, WI. OTAs follow through with treatment plans written by the occupational therapist for patients referred by a physician for occupational rehabilitation services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Implements treatment plan established by Occupational Therapist.
• Informs Occupational Therapist of changes in patient’s condition.
• Makes recommendations to Occupational Therapist for adjusting treatment plan as needed to progress patient or discontinue services.
• Performs necessary documentation including progress notes, discharge notes and logs in a timely manner according to regulations.
• Performs clerical duties such as inventory, answering phone, taking messages and filling out forms.
• Understands and complies with supervisory regulations required by the state.
• Maintains positive relationships with the health care team, patient and family.

Education and/or Experience
Associates degree (A.A.), of OTA

Clinic Hours of Operation

• Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm
