Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Flexible for the right candidate
Job Summary:
The Office Assistant will provide day-to-day office support, ensure accurate recordkeeping, and assist the owner with a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Greet and assist visitors and employees as needed
- Maintain accurate filing systems for documents, sales tickets, and POS entries
- Assist with data entry, invoicing, and account statements
- Handle cash box counting and reconcile records for accuracy
- Support management with special projects and company initiatives
- Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence and reports
- Maintain office supplies and ensure a well-organized workspace
- Provide general administrative support to team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Experience in Business Works is a plus, but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accountability in all work performed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
