Operations Internship (Monroe, WI)

We have several Operations Internships available in our Monroe, WI Fulfillment and Production facilities:

ΓÇó Assistant Warehouse Supervisor Summer Only Internship (1st shift: 7:00 am — 4:00 pm)
Work in production, help troubleshoot problems, assist with inventory. Intern will be trained to operate a forklift and will be expected to supervise the replenishments in Fulfillment. Will fill in where needed.

ΓÇó Assistant Warehouse Supervisor Summer and Fall Internship (1st shift: 7:00 am — 4:00 pm and will transition to 4:30pm to 1:30pm mid November through Christmas)

ΓÇó Assistant Shipping Supervisor Summer and Fall Internship (1st shift: 7:00 am — 4:00 pm and will transition to 4:30pm to 1:30pm mid November through Christmas)
After training period, the intern will begin working in production and packing as an assistant supervisor. Later in the internship they will be moved to fulfillment to assist, working a later 2nd shift.

What YouΓÇÖll Do & Learn
Operations Interns will work with the Assistant Managers to coordinate and direct the receiving movement, production and shipping of product and gifts so that quality and efficiency are maintained throughout the department. You will be responsible for meeting daily production needs throughout the facility. In addition, you will be responsible for:
ΓÇó Working with Senior Supervisors on the coordination of daily warehouse functions
ΓÇó Assisting in training the temporary warehouse employees
ΓÇó Analyzing and or developing new warehouse functions
ΓÇó Analyzing current operations methods while researching other methods that may deliver increased efficiencies
ΓÇó Reviewing and updating all procedures pertaining to the production operations environment
ΓÇó Communicating work in progress status to other Supervisors throughout the shift

Qualifications

This role requires highly driven individuals with the ability to give clear and concise instructions with a strong knowledge of supervisory procedures and concepts. Ideally you will be working towards an Associate or Bachelor' Degree in Supply Chain Logistics, Production or Operations Management, Industrial Technology Management, Business Management, General Management or related majors. In addition, we are looking for:
ΓÇó Junior or Senior standing, recent graduates may be considered
ΓÇó A cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher
ΓÇó Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
ΓÇó Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively motivate a wide-range of individuals
ΓÇó Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary
ΓÇó Bilingual proficiency preferred (English/Spanish)

This position is not eligible for remote work and would require you to work onsite at our headquarters in Monroe, WI for the duration of your internship.
