Starting at $18/hour | Full-Time | Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (One afternoon off per week)
A reputable company in Dubuque is hiring a full-time Optician. No prior experience is required — we provide training to help you succeed!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients by advising on frame weights, materials, styles, and colors
- Recommend lenses, coatings, and frames tailored to customers’ needs
- Measure customers to determine the best frame styles and sizes
- Adjust frames to ensure proper fit and comfort
- Prepare and verify orders for glasses and contact lenses by reviewing prescriptions and specifications
- Ensure accuracy in the processing of all eyewear and contact lens orders
