Express Employment in Platteville, WI has partnered with a company in Shullsburg, WI to fill packaging roles and support their production operations.

Overview:

We are looking for two motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Cheese Packagers. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced food production environment. As a Cheese Packager, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our cheese products are packed safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Duties:

• Package cheese into trays, bags, or wraps according to guidelines
• Label and weigh packaged products accurately
• Check cheese for quality, appearance, and proper cut
• Keep packaging area clean and organized
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Report any issues with equipment or product to the supervisor
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
• Assist with cleanup and end-of-shift duties

Qualifications:

• Ability to work early morning shifts (5:00 AM start)
• Comfortable working in a cold environment for extended periods
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
• No experience required – training will be provided
