RN Charge Nurse, Part-Time, 1st Shift

As a Registered Nurse you will coordinate and direct the provision of high quality nursing care to the residents on one or more nursing stations. Assuring the residents are helped to function at their highest most practical level of living. Ensuring that the residents individual care plan is in accordance with their ongoing needs assessment, the medical treatment prescribed by their physician, and Stonehill’s administrative policies and professional nursing/pharmacy procedures. As well as supervise assigned nursing care staff and support personnel directing their work activities and evaluating their performance. You will administer medications and prescribed treatments to residents. Assuring that proper record keeping and charting is done each shift in an accurate and timely manner. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of a two or four year college, or professional course of study in Nursing and attain an Iowa RN License.

Speech Therapist, PRN

As a Speech Therapist, you are providing and directing Speech Language Pathology services to patients/residents. Including assessment, treatment, program planning, and implementation. They function under the physician’s orders. They conduct screenings of patients at regular intervals to determine the need for intervention/treatment. As a Caregiver, you will assist residents with daily living activities with the goal of enhancing each resident’s quality of life. Administer medication reminders and/or medication after completing nurse delegation. Provide showering/bathing and personal hygiene assistance. Get the residents dressed and ready in the morning, evening, and/or as needed. Assists residents with ambulation. Observe and report changes in the residents condition to the Nurse Supervisor. Completes work, and care documentation with accuracy and within a specified time frame. Maintains current knowledge of all applicable resident care policies and procedures.
