Simo Kitchen – Day Shift

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 Follow the order of the schedule and call for batches from the meat room, as required.

 Weigh all ingredients and record weight before batching.

 Record lot numbers and supplier for each ingredient used.

 Kitchen operator is a final check for Q.C and supervisor- must notify Q.C and supervisor of anything unusual; i.e. batch too thick, too thin, off-color, off odor.

 Follow formula guidelines, which are listed, on each batch sheet.

 Record batching information for each batch made on formula kitchen sheets. These include gravy weight, water level, water temp, tri-blender R.P.M.’s final batch weight, fill temps and additives.

 Clean and sanitize entire kitchen during can size changeovers or when notified by Supervisor.

 Follow rinse procedures for cleaning the emulsifier and tanks 1, 2, & 3.

 Regulate the dropping temperature, as required. Follow batch sheet guidelines or Supervisor instructions.

 Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies; coordinates work to ensure B.E.S.T practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. As a member of the Team, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues; e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforces actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.

 Simmons Operating systems principles and objectives: Is familiar with Simmons’ established operating systems (e.g. quality, security, office environment, company policies); understands the responsibility to maintain familiarity with the systems and this position’s role in support of these systems – including a consideration of the impact of individual actions on the systems and the responsibility to communicate concerns and improvement ideas.

 Physical Activities: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, must be able to stand on feet for the entire shift.

  • Part-Time 20hrs a week, Monday – Friday, no holidays or weekend.

General Requirements:

  • Must be able to type/keyboard and operate calculator accurately.
  • Must have knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling rules.
  • Must be able to operate telephone communications efficiently.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Must have taken a medical terminology course or have above average knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Must have interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills.

Education:

  • High School graduate.
  • Medical terminology course required or 2-3 years’ experience with medical terminology.
  • Preferred Degree in Health Information Management or a related field or an equivalent combination of years of education and experience.

  • Must be able to become familiar with use and care of housekeeping chemicals and equipment.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with other departments.

Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.

The Director of Pharmacy Services serves as the accountable leader for both clinical pharmacy services and the in-house retail pharmacy. Supervises pharmacists and the Pharmacy Manager. You will have administrative duties that come with managing the pharmacy, including staffing, policy development, cost control and compliance. You’ll need to ensure the pharmacy provides great customer service and provide direct care for our patient population. You will also be the Pharmacist in Charge at the InFocus retail pharmacy on our campus.

Successful applicants will be

  • Possess at least a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy
  • Minimum of five years of clinical and/or outpatient pharmacy experience required.
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Outpatient pharmacy 340B, FQHC and/or HRSA experience preferred.
  • Experience with Epic Electronic Health Record system and/or Pioneer preferred.
  • Iowa Pharmacist License and Immunization Certificate to legally practice as a pharmacist in the state of Iowa and serve as a clinical and dispensing pharmacist for CCHC is required; must be obtained before hire.

Project Superintendent

The Project Superintendent will lead field operations to deliver a successful project to the client, on time, in budget and with high quality. The Project Superintendent is responsible for all field operations including safety, quality, productivity, planning, scheduling, client relations, team building, risk management, cost estimation, subcontractor management and execution strategy.  Travel is required dependent upon assigned project.

  • Five or more years of relevant construction industry experience with superintendent duties

Responsibilities

Cooler Labor

Prairie Farms Dairy is looking for general cooler labor.

Successful candidate will be able to to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis, pass drug screen and background check and must be able to read and write English.  Applicant must possess High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read and write English and perform basic math calculations.

Positions cover Monday through Saturday with one day off during the week.  Opening is for 1st/2nd shift.  

Depending on the position:

  • You may need to work in cold temperatures the entire shift.
  • You will be walking or standing the entire shift
  • Most include lifting or dragging heavy product for some distance
