Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to assist with data entry and AP processing while our Cost Accountant is out on extended medical leave. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive, task-driven work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records of transactions

Job Description:

PURPOSE:  
This position is responsible for the identification and development of HVAC distribution in key target markets. The incumbent will educate, promote and sell DuctSox products through HVAC distributors, architects, engineers, land large target accounts while ensuring repetitive sales through the development of positive long-term customer relationships. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

Identify and develop quality HVAC distributors in target markets within their primary region to sell and promote High Throw and Comfort Flow DuctSox systems 
 
Identify, promote and maintain key target accounts for Lo-Throw DuctSox products since many of these sales are on a direct basis and will not be promoted through HVAC distribution. 
 
Educate, train and motivate HVAC distributors to sell DuctSox products 
 
Identify and promote DuctSox concept to targeted end user accounts within primary region. 
 
Maintain contact with DuctSox users to insure customer satisfaction and generate future business. 
 
Use telemarketing techniques and process to generate interest and sales at target end user accounts, new construction jobs and at the architect level. 
 
Track, coordinate and manage new construction jobs and large end user jobs as it relates to the 5 steps of selling:  setting the appointment, making a professional sales presentation, product demonstration, pricing and closing the job. 
 
Maintain required sales management reports utilizing company provided personal computer. 
 
This position will be responsible for meeting a sales budget and is responsible for all profit and margin generated through the sales of products within the assigned region.  The exact numbers will vary by region. 
 
The incumbent will conduct the sales activities in the assigned region. 
 
This position is expected to be in the office approximately 40% of the time, 50% in the field, and 10% other (trade shows, training, etc.)    The amount of overnight travel will vary from region to region (3 to 7 states) depending upon the geographic size of the region but can be expected to range from 6 to 8 nights of travel per month. 
 
Responsible for executing and supporting the quality system and procedures in the effort for continuous improvements. 
 
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:  
Ensure that established sales goal for each region reached or exceeded.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Summary

This candidate must be a self-starter who has knowledge of the complexities of a structural design environment. This candidate will support engineers by performing a range of technical and administrative tasks, including preparing documents, reviewing shop drawings, and maintaining project organization.
