Express Employment is seeking candidates for a Forklift/Baler Operator position in Dubuque, Iowa.

We’re assisting a locally operated facility in hiring a full-time Forklift/Baler Operator. This role involves moving baled materials, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting day-to-day floor operations in a fast-paced, physical environment.

Pay: $20/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time | 1st Shift: 5:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to transport baled materials throughout the facility
  • Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner
  • Assist with floor operations and material flow
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications:

  • Previous forklift or equipment operation experience required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Strong attention to safety and reliability

PRIMARY PURPOSE:  To process claims and determine accommodation options following written  guidelines and procedures pursuant to ADA, state and/or client requirements; to make timely referrals for appropriate disability and federal/state leave of absence eligibility review; and to ensure the ongoing processing of claims.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
• Informs claimants of documentation required to process claims, required time frames, and claims status either by phone, written correspondence and/or claims system.
• Reviews medical information to determine if the claimant meets the requirements under ADA, state, and/or client requirements for a qualifying condition.
• Makes claim determinations to approve non-complex ADA claims or makes a recommendation to team lead to deny claims based on the ADA, state, and/or client requirements.  Processes ADA claims ensuring compliance with duration control guidelines, ADA and state regulations, and/or client-specific process provisions.
• Determines accommodation options; makes timely claims referrals for appropriate disability or federal/state leave of absence eligibility reviews where applicable.
• Conducts initial employee interview per process guidelines.
• Utilizes the appropriate clinical and vocational resources in case assessment (i.e. duration guidelines, in-house clinicians, ADA job accommodation specialists). 
• Refers cases as appropriate to team lead.
• Maintains professional client relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
Two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.  One (1) year of benefits or claims management experience preferred.

Accounting Associate

Purpose of the Position 

Supports the Plant Controller and plant production management by providing inventory or production reconciliation and reporting. 

Essential Position Responsibilities – This is a Salary Non-Exempt position. 

Reconciles production or inventory reports. Generates daily production (batch) reports or inventory reports from the database, compares to shop floor documents and analyzes for discrepancies and variances. Collaborates with production or accounting counterparts to resolve discrepancies. Elevates unresolved issues to manager for further direction or support.  

Processes accounts payable. Processes invoices from vendors then matches to receiving reports and purchase orders to initiate proper payment, verifying proper account coding. Codes invoices that do not have a related purchase  order, accurately tying each to proper expense accounts. Generates weekly summary reports and communicates reports to the management team. Accurately files invoices and maintains the filing system. Keeps track of financial accruals;  identifies, estimates cost, and communicates to supervisor. Determines taxability of items and codes accordingly. 

Reviews, prepares, and/or distributes numerous reports. Prepares reports and estimates with accuracy and timeliness. Distributes reports weekly and responds to questions. 

Cross-trains with other accounting employees. Cross-trains with other accounting employees to ensure day-to-day functions are accomplished regardless of absences. 

Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in the ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. As a member of the Team, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all  major issues; e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a  supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforce actions needed, to achieve synergy  possible within the larger organization.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): As required by visiting facility. 

Travel: Travels domestically to and from multiple facilities or work-sites very occasionally. Overnight travel may be required for training very occasionally. 

Technical Experience: 1-2 years accounting, clerical, or administrative experience. Basic understanding of math and accounting principles required. Experience with ERP systems is a plus. Use of personal computer, calculator, and 10-key and a working knowledge of Word and Excel required. Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail and strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and verbal/written communication skills required. Must be able to work  independently, be detail oriented and organized while working with a high degree of accuracy. 

Industry Experience: Preference for food processing or manufacturing organization. 

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. 

Preferred Education: Some college, especially accounting classes.

  • Communicates with and educates physicians and all other members of the healthcare team regarding clinical documentation and monitors provider engagement.  Identifies learning opportunities for healthcare providers. 
  • Conducts concurrent reviews of selected patient health records to address legibility, clarity, completeness, consistency and precision of clinical documentation. 
  • Formulates compliant clarifications/queries following Trinity Health’s documentation integrity procedures.    
  • Interacts with physicians, nurses and ancillary staff regarding compliant documentation requirements, clarification/query requests and educational opportunities. 
  • Codes all relevant, appropriate and compliant working diagnoses codes, establishing a working principal diagnosis and working DRG (MS or APR). 
  • Collaborates with coding staff to ensure documentation of discharge diagnoses and co-morbidities are a complete reflection of the patient’s clinical status and care.  Resolves all discrepancies in a courteous manner. 
  • Demonstrates expertise in problem-solving skills based on theoretical knowledge, clinical experience and sound judgement and serves as a professional role model by demonstrating desirable practice behaviors. 
  • Leverages the functions of 3M/360 for entering data related to CDI efficiencies and effectiveness. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership. 
  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, accrediting agencies, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior. 

Education:

  • Must possess an Associate/Diploma Degree in Nursing, or Health Information Technology (HIT) or an Advanced degree in nursing (NP/APN) or Physician Assistant.  In the absence of a college degree, must have 3 or more years’ experience as an inpatient coder or clinical documentation specialist.   
  • Preferred certification or licensure includes: 
    • Current Registered Nurse License,  
    • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA),  
    • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT),  
    • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS),  
    • Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)  
    • Certified Documentation Improvement Professional (CDIP). 
  • Experience in Critical Care, Medical or Surgical Inpatient Care Nursing, as an RN, physician assistant (PA), nurse practitioner/advanced practice nurse (NP/APN), or as an inpatient coder preferred.   
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, collaboration and relationship-building skills.  Strong critical thinking skills and ability to integrate knowledge.  Prioritization and organizational skills required.  Effective presentation/facilitation skills to accomplish educational goals for all members of the healthcare team. 
  • Demonstrated ability to use a standard desktop and Windows based computer system, including a basic understanding of email, internet and computer navigation.  Ability to use other software as required to perform the essential functions on the job.  Experience with databases, spreadsheet software and presentation software preferred. 
  • Data entry skills and typing skills at minimum 30 wpm.

Senior Employee Benefits Client Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and passionate employee benefits professional to drive successful outcomes for clients and their programs. As an Employee Benefits Client Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in building strong client relationships, providing high-quality analysis, and delivering strategic recommendations that ensure positive outcomes for our clients. With your expertise, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients across various industries, sizes, and geographies.

Essential Functions:
• Build Client Relationships: Establish yourself as the primary advisor for benefits-related issues. Assist clients by developing and executing tailored benefit program strategies to retain and attract employees. Support HR leaders in navigating legal compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA) and other functions.
• Team Collaboration: Work within a cross-functional team to address client needs in analytics, compliance, communications, technology, marketing, and non-medical benefits. Leverage internal tools effectively to oversee client materials and prepare for questions with support from internal teams.
• Develop Benefit Plan Offerings: Analyze client data for utilization patterns, benchmarking, and alternative funding strategies. Collaborate with the sales team to recommend products to enhance benefit programs or solve client needs.

Knowledge and Expertise:
• Familiarity with coverages, carriers, payroll, and benefit administration systems.
• Proficiency in benefit procedures, strategies, and market knowledge.
• Strong business insight including financial reporting, client business models, and strategy.
• A commitment to personal excellence and a thriving company culture.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
• Maintain a Life and Health Insurance License.
• Expertise in developing self-insured and fully insured welfare benefit plans.
• Fulfillment of continuing education credits and additional designations as assigned.

Your Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Aid, your primary responsibilities include functioning as a productive member of Hillcrest Family Services by assisting housekeeping staff in keeping designated areas of the facility clean.

  • Follow basic housekeeping procedures as directed within an allotted time
  • Disinfect, vacuum, dust, sweep and complete other needed office cleaning tasks
  • Maintain client privacy and ensure confidentiality
  • Attend staff meetings or trainings as needed
