The Warehouse Associate role is important to our Warehousing & Trucking division, as they ensure accurate, safe and timely handling of customer’s products.  This role requires being on site and based out of our warehouse located in Peosta, Iowa.

 

Our warehouse is climate controlled, and we do everything we can to ensure you are working in a comfortable and safe environment. As this is a fast-paced role, clear communication and flexibility is a must. In return, we’ll give you access to training, development opportunities and benefits

 

Day-to-day tasks:

  • Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise
  • Complete receiving and/or shipping documentation, as required
  • Work in several different areas according to your job rotation
  • Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processes

Assistant Professor of Counseling

POSITION SUMMARY. The Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Loras College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Counseling, with specialization in clinical mental health counseling and preferred licensure as a counselor.  As a member of the School of Science & Health, the ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching a range of courses for the graduate counseling program, including Research and Program Evaluation, Assessment, Psychopathology, Diagnosis and Treatment Planning, Addictions, as well as courses the candidate’s specialty. Candidates will be expected to teach summer courses (typically 4 weeks) on a rotating basis with other faculty and academically advise students.  There may be opportunities to supervise research.  In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to provide service to the College and engage with scholarship in line with the Boyer Model.

 

The successful applicant will be one of the three core faculty in the program who will support the program’s mission of developing versatile mental health counselors who are self-aware and constantly strive for ethical and multicultural competence to effectively contribute to the field in support of client well-being.  As a member of the counseling faculty, the candidate will collaborate with other core faculty to maintain a quality training program for future mental health counselors.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE. A doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from an accredited institution is required.  A Ph.D. degree in related fields will be considered if the individual has been teaching in a counselor education program full-time prior to 2013. Additional qualifications include:
