Rite-Hite is seeking an Inside Sales Assistant to provide critical sales support across our full product offering. In this role, you’ll partner closely with field sales, rep organizations, and internal teams to ensure accurate quotes, smooth order processing, and exceptional customer experiences.

 

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in supporting sales operations by:

Sales & Customer Support

  • Serve as a primary resource for field salespeople, rep organizations, Regional Managers, and Business Development Managers.
  • Communicate product information and respond to questions about designs, applications, and technical details.
  • Provide timely, accurate information to representatives and customers.

Order Processing & Project Support

  • Read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications to design, apply, and quote projects.
  • Process orders using internal quoting and order-entry systems.
  • Review orders for accuracy and completeness prior to production.
  • Prepare submittal packages, approval drawings, and written specifications.
  • Coordinate tracking updates and support basic post-shipping customer service.

Operational Efficiency

  • Organize and streamline daily workload to reduce errors and improve turnaround time.
  • Support and coordinate warranty claims.
  • Communicate service solutions effectively to reps and customers.
  • Help execute sales strategies and meet project deadlines as guided by sales leadership.

 

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree required; 1–2 years of relevant experience or training.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, product manuals, and installation instructions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), Windows OS, and experience with JDE Edwards a plus.
  • Familiarity with takeoff software such as Adobe or Bluebeam.
  • Solid math skills (fractions, percentages, ratios, basic calculations).
  • Ability to solve practical problems and handle varied tasks with some standardization.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To supervise the operations of multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for disability claims for clients; to monitor colleagues' workload, provide training, and monitor individual claim activities; to provide technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication; and to maintain a diary on claims within the teams including frequent diaries on complex or high exposure claims.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises multiple teams of examiners and/or several technical operations colleagues for a wide span of control; may delegate some duties to others within the unit.
  • Identifies and advises management of trends, problems, and issues as well as recommended course of action; informs management of new procedures and ideas for continuous process improvement; and coordinates with management projects for the office.
  • Provides technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication.
  • Compiles, reviews, and analyzes management reports and takes appropriate action.
  • Performs quality review on claims in compliance with audit requirements, service contract requirements, and quality standards.
  • Acts as second level of appeal for client and claimant issues regarding claim specific, procedural or special requests; implements final disposition of the appeal.
  • Reviews reserve amounts on high cost claims and claims over the authority of the individual examiner.
  • Monitors third party claims; maintains periodical review of litigated claims, serious vocational rehabilitation claims, questionable claims and sensitive claims as determined by client.
  • Maintains contact with the client on claims and promotes a professional client relationship; makes recommendations to client as suggested by the claim status; and provides written resumes of specific claims as requested by client.
  • Assures that direct reports are properly licensed in the jurisdictions serviced.
  • Ensures claims files are coded correctly and adequate documentation is made by claims examiners.

Education & Licensing

Operations Manager

Purpose of the Position

Plans, directs and coordinates the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications. 

Essential Position Responsibilities – This is a Salary Exempt position. 

Responsible for quality and food safety. Directs production, processing, and packaging operations. Ensures supervisors and first-line employees are following all FDA and USDA requirements in a way that meets or exceeds customer specifications. Works with the QA department to ensure production, packaging, and canning departments are following processes and procedures in a proper manner. Understands industry regulations (both current and  expected changes) relevant to all company services. Works with QA on the weekly sanitation audit ensuring  requirements are met. 

Promotes a safe work environment. Promotes a “safety comes first” philosophy across all areas of production. Inspects facilities to identify any hazardous conditions. Works with the Regional Safety Manager and the Director, Operations in the improving and changing of equipment, policies, procedures, etc. Enforces security and safety measures to include: lockout/tagout practices, OSHA compliance, safety awareness, and equipment safety. Responsible for the proper use, care, reporting, and preventative maintenance of all equipment. 

Fosters a Continuous Improvement culture. Suggests and develops methods for area and process improvement in regards to efficiencies that will serve internal and external customers. Follows and applies principles of LEAN manufacturing to everyday activities in order to reduce waste. Leads and encourages supervisors to use LEAN tools to educate and motivate team members to follow a continuous improvement culture. 

Plans and implements plant costing strategies. Tracks different entities to identify plant waste. Analyzes various operational reports and develops strategies to drive out waste and increase efficiency. Responsible for the development of plant costing programs and waste reduction. Ensures correct amounts of materials and ingredients are used based on customer specifications in order to maximize yield. Allocates resources in a cost effective way. 

Responsible for inventory control. Monitors raw inventory including meats and ingredients to identify any  discrepancies. Analyzes inventory losses and develops processes to prevent further losses. Take the appropriate steps to ensure inventory and processes are in place to drive down costs. 

Develops and recommends a budget for the operations department. Negotiates prices of factory supplies. Reviews processing schedules and production orders to determine staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments. Demonstrates commitment to cost reduction. 

Involved in the advancement and training of direct reports. Ensures direct reports have a development program and that they attend the proper training within Simmons or third party providers. Makes recommendations based on Simmons needs. Works with HR and the Director of Operations to develop advancement programs.  

Manages employees. Directs and supervises employees’ work activities and monitors work performance. Collaborates with Human Resources to screen, interview and hire candidates. Administers disciplinary actions and recommends performance improvement actions in collaboration with the HR Manager. Monitors work performance and recommends compensation decisions based on guidelines. Follows Simmons values to develop and maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees. Promotes a cooperative and harmonious environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity, and continued improvement. 

Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in the ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team  members. Attends appropriate team meetings. Must possess knowledge of costs, LEAN principles, yield, OSHA regulations, safety practices, GMPs, and HACCP. Basic knowledge  of Kaizen events and 5S programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit. Must be able to obtain Thermal Processing certification if managing pet food operations. 

Industry Experience: Preference for food processing and/or manufacturing experience. 

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or 4 years experience in lieu of degree.

As a Registered Nurse at MercyOne, you will be a collaborative member/leader of the healthcare team and is accountable for practicing both the art and science of nursing, delivering care as prescribed by the ANA Standards of Practice & Professional Performance described below.  In addition, registered nurses are accountable to practice in accordance with standards established/endorsed by MercyOne leadership and by external regulators and accreditation agencies.  The RN actively promotes MercyOne Nursing and the nursing profession and supports advancing practice as defined by the MercyOne Nursing Vision Statement and annual Patient Care Services goals. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Conducts an initial assessment to gather data. 

  • Makes an initial assessment of new admissions within 30 minutes of the patient’s arrival to the unit. 

  • Completes all areas of the admission assessment database within 24 hours of admission.  

  • Identifies patient problems and develops them into an outcome/goal-based plan of care. 

  • Initiates the patient problem list and incorporates relevant medical history into the plan of care. 

  • Analyzes and interprets the assessment data to identify desired patient outcomes/goals. 

  • Determines nursing interventions to achieve those outcomes/goals. 

  • Prioritizes patient care needs/ activities.

Driver/Courier- Part Time

Description

Medical Associates is hiring a part-time Driver/Courier to join the Purchasing & Distribution team! This is an exciting position where you will either have a variety in your weeks or work as a more dedicated fill-in to provide extended long-term coverage for our driver and courier teams as needed.  The ideal candidate will be flexible, willing to learn, and will jump in where needed.
 
Primary schedule: Schedule will vary weekly based on department coverage needs. Hours will be Monday-Friday ranging between 6am and 6:30pm

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

·         Pickup/deliver supplies, mail, interoffice documents, medical records, etc. throughout the campuses and satellite offices.
·         Pickup/deliver inactive documents and other items, such as furniture and medical equipment, as requested by departments to and from warehouse/satellites.
·         Respond to stat requests.
·         See that vehicle is scheduled for routine maintenance and repairs are timely, coordinate with Manager.
·         Complete all other assigned projects and duties.
 
Courier Responsibilities:
·         Receive, sort, deliver, and pickup mail, interoffice mail, records, faxes, lab reports, xrays, marketing materials, supplies, magazines, etc. for all departments, East, West and Mercy.
·         Send multiple faxes for clinical departments as requested, ensuring that all faxes are successful.
·         Manage the fax machine in courier area, as well as electronically move faxes to appropriate physicians and departments. 
·         Receive and sign for packages from outside delivery companies, deliver to appropriate location. 
·         Retrieve lab and x-ray reports from Mercy via fax. Sort per location and provider and route appropriately.
·         Relay stat requests to drivers.
·         Complete all other assigned projects and duties.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience: From three months to one year of similar or related experience.

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Interpersonal Skills: Normal courtesy in dealing with others is required. Work involves minimal contacts, usually within the organization. Contact usually involving routine, non-sensitive issues.

Other Skills: Operate van/truck, pager/cell phone, and moving dolly. Valid driver’s license.

Field Engineering Technician I or II (Water Resources)

Position Summary

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision of a Civil Engineer III (Water Resources), the Field Engineering Technician I/II assists in the planning, designing, and overseeing of construction and maintenance of municipal structures and facilities. This role involves a mix of field inspection responsibilities (~60%) as well as some design and office duties (~40%). The technician serves as a construction observer, engineering project representative, and materials testing technician. Additionally, the technician performs engineering design functions, operates computer/GIS systems, and supports technicians and engineers on various projects, and performs related work as required.

•High School diploma or equivalency with supplemental coursework in CAD, Infrastructure Construction, or Construction Inspection; Six (6) years of experience working on public infrastructure related construction projects;
•IDOT Materials Testing Certifications: Aggregate Technician, HMA Sampling, and PCC-1
•Work Zone Safety and Confined Space Awareness within 6 months of employment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Field Engineering Tech 2 – Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s (2-year) degree or major coursework in CAD, Infrastructure Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Inspection or a related field
Field Engineering Tech 1 – 6 months of experience in construction inspection or materials testing related to public infrastructure related construction projects such as roadways and utilities
•Confined space entry certification within 6 months of employment
•1 year of experience in sanitary or stormwater sewer system inspection and/or maintenance activities.
•Knowledge of residential or commercial plumbing.
