Holy Family Early Childhood is seeking After-school Care Associates to join our team! These are 9-month, part-time positions while school is in-session.

An ideal position for anyone 18+ who loves to work with children – After-school Care Associates supervise school-aged children in the after-school program. This will include, but is not limited to, assisting with homework, planning activities, and supervising students.

Positions are available at the following locations:

  • Our Lady of Guadalupe Early Childhood: Monday – Friday, 3:00 – 5:30 p.m.
  • Resurrection Early Childhood: M-F, 2:00 – 5:30 p.m.

We offer a starting wage of $15.00 per hour. Possible additional pay based on education and experience.

Rehab Assistant

Unified Therapy Services is hiring a Rehab Assistant for our pediatric clinic in Dubuque, IA

Part-time or full-time

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Completes set up and tear down of requested therapeutic equipment and requested food for Feeding Therapy
  • Assists with therapy projects as requested by staff
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with the health care team, patient, and family.
  • Assists with overall cleanliness of the clinical environment
  • Completes laundry and dishes for therapy use
  • Basic repairs of the clinic
  • Assists with orientation of new staff, volunteers, and students
  • Assists with front desk duties including scheduling, taking payments, in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Orders office and cleaning supplies
  • Performs clerical duties such as daily mail, inventory, answering phones, taking messages, filing/scanning, of various paperwork in all patient folders,
  • Performs annual inventory of therapy equipment

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED

Valid Iowa Driver’ License (preferred)

Full time staff must obtain their CPR/First Aid certification within the first 90 days of employment.

Industrial Controls Technician — 3rd Shift

*OVERTIME DICTATED BY PRODUCTION DEMAND.

Pay Rate: $28.00 – $39.25 per hour – Plus $1.50 Shift Differential

Responsibilities: The primary role of the Industrial Controls Technician is to continuously improve the reliability, efficiency, and utilization of plant electrical, electronic, and computerized control systems. This is accomplished by utilizing electrical and mechanical expertise in the precise design, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of plant systems and equipment followed by concise and accurate documentation of all activities and observations. Incumbent must be willing to join a team environment and perform other tasks as assigned.

 

Job Qualifications:

An Associates degree in Industrial Electronics or related field, and/or 5 years of experience in the electrical controls field. Technical experience or training in designing, programming, operating and maintaining industrial control systems. Verbal and written communication skills necessary including basic computer proficiency. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

-Technical expertise designing, programming, operating and maintaining Allen Bradley industrial control systems.

-Master Electrician or Journeyman’ License preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Is responsible for meeting the requirements of safety, quality, efficiency, and costs for their assigned departments.

  • Exhibits a strong working knowledge of all production principles and equipment.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 1+ year as a shift lead, shift supervisor, assistant manager, etc. OR Associates Degree.
  • Proven leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow the nursing model to promote holistic care for the residents and a team approach for staff
  • Direct the daily activities of the nurses, CNAs, and CMAs in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations and guidelines and established facility policies and procedures
  • Participate in the admission, discharge and transfers of residents as required.
  • Assess changes in residentsΓÇÖ status, notifying the physician and resident’ family or representative and documenting accordingly
  • Transcribe physician orders to medical records and carry out orders as written
  • Prepare and administer medications per physiciansΓÇÖ orders and observe for adverse effects
  • Perform wound treatments per physiciansΓÇÖ orders, observes for changes and documents accordingly as indicated (RN only)
  • Schedule follow up appointments for residents

  • Provide direct care skills such as colostomy changes, tube feedings, wound care, suctioning, IV administration, etc. in accordance with current policies and procedures
  • Perform rounds to ensure resident needs are being met
  • Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure residentsΓÇÖ needs are holistically met
  • Participate in management team meetings to discuss census changes, resident changes in status or care need, or concerns
  • Assist in evaluating work performance of nursing personnel and implement discipline according to operational policies and as directed
  • Inform appropriate departments of concerns or complaints and follow up as needed
  • Report any incidents or unusual occurrences to the director of nursing and participate in the investigative process as needed
  • Participate in end-of-life care as required
  • Ensure that there is an adequate stock of medications, supplies, equipment and notifies appropriate personnel of needs
  • Initiate, review and update care plans as required
  • Participate in the survey process when inspection surveys occur
  • Ensure that infection control principles are followed and assist in correcting deficiencies in practice

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted Iowa LPN or RN nursing license
  • CPR certification
  • Schedule availability to work every third weekend and every other holiday
  • Pre-employment physical and TB test required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy, and compassion
  • Experience working in long term care a plus but on required

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 3rd shift: 10:00 pm -6;00 am; including working every third weekend and every other holiday
