This is a full-time position working 2nd shift, 2 pm – 10:30 pm with a $3 shift differential.

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the executionservice of all catered & concessions events with a primary focus on the Five Flags Civic Center. Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage,  Management of Catering and Concessions Food and Beverage operations including: interviewing, hiring, scheduling, ordering, inventory, labor costs and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure legal, efficient, professional and profitable operation of the venue.
  • Generate and review financial reports, including budgets, projections, forecasting, revenue analysis, disbursements, capital investments, labor and product costs, wage and salary control, P&L financial statements.
  • Conflict resolution; last-resort mediation; arbitration and labor negotiations, when applicable.
  • Responsible for overseeing the serving of meals to guests or directing guests to the buffet line.

Overview

We’re seeking a RN Supervisor/Trauma Nurse Coordinator to join our team! In this role you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a cost-effective system of care for trauma patients and their families throughout the continuum of care. You will work both independently and in collaboration with the trauma program medical director and other members of the health care team and the management staff.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Clinical Practice – Provide clinical needs of trauma patients both directly and indirectly.
  • Research – Participates in multidisciplinary trauma research projects as investigator and/or coordinator.
  • Performance Improvement- Assists in the development, implementation and assessment of nursing performance improvement programs related to trauma care.
  • Education – Coordinates and collaborates on nursing educational activities necessary to meet the objectives of the Trauma Services.
  • Leadership- Assists in formulating Trauma Service goals and policies.
  • Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Coordinator
  • Supervisor- Evaluates daily staffing needs of Paramedics. Collaborates with others in the leadership team to facilitate adjustments that meet the department needs.
  • Professional Development- Supports a thorough and adequate orientation program for new staff and student interns.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

Education:

Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.

Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferrred.

Experience:

1-2 years experience as an Emergency Department Staff Nurse required.

Previous management experience preferred.

License(s)/Certification(s):

Required:

Current RN Licensure in State of Iowa or applicable compact state.

Must be licensed in state of residence.
