Job Description

In coordination with CTO and other Technology and Architecture leadership, evangelizes the company’s technical vision and app/web/cloud development footprint, and assists to drive certain aspects of the company’s technological development, including assisting in the direction of all system and data development strategies and design in various functional business domains and corresponding projects. Provides guidance of vision, problem anticipation, and problem-solving ability to all teams within IT.

Provides primary software and integration engineering oversight and execution guidance for all appropriate projects, POCs and pilots, as well as certain exploratory initiatives as appropriate.  Is knowledgeable in as many technologies, architectural styles, and development stacks, integrated development environments and methodologies as possible. Role expertise includes strong industry acumen and a solid understanding of the verticals of business operations.

Operates in a consultative fashion with executive management and various department heads, such as Marketing and Finance, as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness. Familiar with evangelizing and implementing a variety of the enterprise architecture concepts, practices, and procedures.  

  • Evangelize the core strategic technology and software/integration development vision for the company and anticipate, plan and act on shifts in technology
  • Simultaneously lead design and establish software engineering guidance for multiple pilots, POCs and projects across Product, Cloud and Innovation verticals

  • 10+ years of professional IT, leadership experience delivering enterprise-level application and system solutions; this experience includes, but is not limited to, app/web architecture and engineering, data architecture and engineering
  • 8+ years leading initiatives that involve complex enterprise integration with operational systems, including, but not limited to, near real-time interface dependencies, multi-level infrastructures and enterprise data impact
  • Oversee implementation of development methodologies and best practices, and advise adjustments to executive management
  • Validate and assure quality assurance and data protection processes
  • Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
  • Create organization-wide development engineering standards and practices
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies
  • Verify app, web and integration architectures are rationalized and appropriately used across the organization
  • Assist business and IT leadership with technical guidance, including but not limited to framing strategy, analyzing opportunities and creating practical roadmaps to support execution

Qualifications

  • Preferred BS in Computer Science or related field and at least 15 years of experience in Information Technology; at least 10 years of management and strategic experience in IT or MBA/MS in equivalent field with 1 years of experience, 7 of which must be strategic in nature
  • 10+ years of professional IT, leadership experience delivering enterprise-level ecosystems of application, data and integration solutions
  • 8+ years leading initiatives that involve complex enterprise integration with operational systems, including, but not limited to, near real-time interface dependencies, multi-level infrastructures and enterprise data impact
  • 6+ years leading enterprise technology programs to set strategy, vision and guiding principles, including, but not limited to, Data Intelligence Programs, Enterprise Integration Design and Standards and Architectural Centers of Excellence
  • Proven experience with cloud integration, hybrid environments, and tools like MuleSoft, AWS Lambda, and Kafka.
  • Preferred background in the gaming, hospitality, or entertainment industry, or similar customer-centric environments where seamless technology integration is mission-critical.
  • Experience evaluating project requests and proposals for viability, assist with requirements definition, and advise on potential impacts to existing applications.
  • Ability to participate with Product/Project Management and other teams to estimate total project cost if necessary
  • Ability to work closely with Product/Project Managers to ensure projects remain on target.

Preparation and review of taxes in connection with federal and state income tax compliance, ASC 740, and FIN 48, audit and appeal support and tax planning and structuring.  
 

  • Manages the federal and state tax compliance process to ensure accurate and timely filing of income, franchise, and excise tax returns.
  • Manages the income tax provision (ASC 740) and (FIN 48) process.
  • Provides effective tax rate analysis, internal and external financial reporting, and financial statement disclosures.

Job Description

The MEP Project Manager is responsible for overseeing various and numerous mechanical, electrical, & plumbing capital projects within the Design & Construction department. The ideal candidate will be jointly responsible for managing all aspects of the specific project type at-hand and will require strong project management skills and technical expertise in the various MEP Systems throughout our portfolio. The individual is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on-time and within budgetary constraints.

•      Develops comprehensive project specific plans including scope of work, budget, and schedule.

Coordinates and/or instructs Department personnel as to safety policies and procedures, to include reporting and follow-up of reported safety hazards.
