Holy Family Catholic Schools is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the Business Office! This is a 12-month, full-time position.
About the Role:
Under the direction of the Director of Finance, this position is responsible for maintaining the general ledger and ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting, while supporting payroll, analysis, and compliance activities. The Staff Accountant assists with journal entries, month-end and year-end close processes, payroll processing and related tax filings, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role also supports financial analysis, monitors transactions and fund balances, maintains the fixed asset register, prepares documentation for audits, and helps review and improve internal financial procedures.
Qualifications Include:
- The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (experience preferred)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality

Who We’re Looking For
We are currently looking for 1st & 2nd Shift Truss Assemblers to join our hardworking team in Cascade, Iowa. With competitive pay ranging from $21.64-$23.64 per hour, you will work individually or with a team to assemble trusses according to project specifications. This opportunity also includes potential roles as a Sawyer, Catcher, and Stacker.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
As a Truss Assembler, your day will be spent working hands-on to build wood or cold-formed steel trusses to be used in various construction applications. Daily tasks include measuring and positioning truss components and fastening them together using hand tools and production equipment, following design specifications to ensure accuracy and quality, inspecting finished trusses to ensure quality standards, and helping keep the work area organized and safe while meeting production goals. Basic construction, manufacturing, or carpentry experience is helpful but not required.

CNC Machine Operator-2nd shift
Duties and responsibilities:
- Operation of CNC, Lathes, Grinders, Mills, Presses and other production machinery
- Placing parts in machine correctly and following process sheets.
- Perform necessary quality checks to produce good parts.
- Maintain a clean workplace environment.
- Follow all safety rules and policies
Qualifications:
- Ability to read engineering drawings and instructions
- Must be able to use measuring tools
- Math and computer skills required
- Ability to work unsupervised with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to stand/walk for a minimum of 10 hours
- Must be able to lift, reach, twist and bend; carrying 20lbs regularly and up to 40lbs as needed.

Quality Assurance Technician
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished die cast parts using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs).
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs), in-process audits, and final inspections according to control plans and blueprints.
- Document and report non-conformances, assist in root cause analysis, and support corrective/preventive actions.
- Review and maintain records for PPAP submissions, control plans, and quality documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment and tools.
- Participate in internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train operators and production personnel on quality procedures as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing or die casting environment preferred.
- The ability to read prints and understand specifications provided by the customers is required.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards, GD&T, and PPAP documentation.
- Strong understanding of dimensional inspection tools and techniques.
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs; stand, lift and inspect parts for extended periods.

The Associate Instructional Designer, K-5 ELA is digital savvy content and curriculum expert, responsible and accountable for assembling high-quality content based on specific product requirements for the Literacy programs.
This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. This is a Project Status Worker (PSW) role with an end date of 6/30/2027.
What you will be doing:
- Learn and contribute to program planning and curriculum mapping where applicable
- Learn and contribute to the creation of POC’s and prototypes.
- Utilize a UBD process to support the design, storyboarding, and implementation of custom digital curriculum tools that
enhance content provided by subject matter experts. - Apply design principles, backwards design, and design thinking concepts in routine situations.

We’re looking for someone with:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or related field required.
- 0-2 years’ experience working in digital content development that includes teaching and learning materials.
- Experience with authoring tools, learning management systems, and content management systems.
- Ability to visualize and create animated and interactive content.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and practices, including collaboration in iterative workflows.
- A successful candidate may have previous K-5 teaching experience.

The pay range for this position is between $41,230 – $55,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
