About the Role

Rousselot is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting all aspects of Human Resources, ensuring we have the systems and processes in place for our people to thrive. The HR Generalist will play a key part in analyzing current processes, implementing improvements, and serving as a trusted partner across departments.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and facilitate the new hire onboarding process to deliver an exceptional experience
  • Act as a primary advocate for HR programs, practices, and upcoming initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review and update policies as needed
  • Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies
  • Manage HR programs such as orientation, employee recognition, SharePoint resources, etc.
  • Assist in formulating and updating HR policies and objectives
  • Partner with HR and operational leadership to design and implement HR strategies
  • Support day-to-day HR administration, including compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, and training
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Production Operator

Rousselot, Inc. is the world’s leading producer of gelatin and is a recognized partner in the pharmaceutical and food industries. The Dubuque facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and has an opening for a production operator. Applicants with manufacturing and forklift truck experience are highly desirable.

Job Duties:

  • Operate food processing/production or packaging equipment in the gelatin plant, to manufacture products according to production and quality standards.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) as instructed.
  • Respond to process upsets and alarms appropriately.
  • Monitor and document the quality of outputs.
  • Follows all food safety procedures and practices to promote our food safety culture.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records.
  • Perform routine cleaning.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Mechanically inclined and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Food Manufacturing experience.
  • Fork truck license or ability to learn how to drive a fork truck.

Expected Hours of Work:

This position requires day/night shift work on a rotating schedule. Weekend work will be a requirement for this position.

Consumer Outbound Lending Consultant

The Consumer Outbound Lending Consultant is responsible for generating a high volume of consumer loans through proactive outbound calling and relationship-building with new and existing members. The role includes educating members on financial solutions and cross selling products that support their financial well being.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide superior member service consistent with the credit union’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Examine, evaluate, and use independent judgment to recommend decisioning on consumer loan and credit card applications.
  • Conduct outbound outreach to build member relationships by identifying needs and presenting Dupaco products and services.
  • Meet or exceed established standards for member plan participation, including GAP/DPW, MBP, Loan Payment Protection, and VPP, to support individual, departmental, and organizational goals.

Overall Responsibilities:

Participate in the achievement of team and departmental goals and objectives to fulfill the Audience Development targets. Specific Responsibilities:

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To process payroll actions based on changes in leave status; to ensure the accurate and timely entry of data; and to support delivery of the highest quality of customer service as a point of contact for internal and external customers and clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures data integrity by accurately interpreting the leave and disability claims data coding hierarchy and applying the correct leave and disability codes into the payroll and time and attendance system.
