McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational solutions, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst, Billings & Operations. The Business Analyst of Billings & Operations position will play a key role in revenue tracking, sales compensation, territory analysis, and other critical functions for McGraw Hill’s Higher Ed Business Unit.  Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Billing & Operations, this role will impact the way that hundreds of people plan their work, impact their compensation, and more.  This position requires an analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative individual motivated to deliver real impact.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Analyze files from many distributors, processing large and time-sensitive data sets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across our Sales Team and Customer Success Team to investigate potential issues, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Enable accurate and timely calculations of incentive compensation for 400+ colleagues.
  • Analyze all Sales and Customer Success territories to determine optimal account ownership and workload balancing.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for Sales and Customer Success leadership.
  • Work cross-functionality with colleagues from Sales, Customers Success, Channels, Finance, Operations, and more.

What you need to be considered:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Coursework in business, statistics, or technical fields preferred.
  • Experience in Sales and/or Revenue Operation.
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical, reporting, or quality assurance role.
  • Excel proficiency required.
  • Access proficiency preferred.
  • Smartsheet experience preferred.
  • CRM (ex: Salesforce) experience preferred.
  • Business intelligence software (ex: Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) experience preferred.

  • accountable for improving service using cost and quality outcome data, current clinical practices and related research, regulatory requirements and comparative benchmark opportunities.

General Requirements:

  • Must be a registered nurse and must hold an active license to practice nursing in the state of Iowa.

As a Microbiology Supervisor at MercyOne, you will work to ensure consistent quality in the Microbiology department. The Microbiology Supervisor is active in evaluating and implementing new technology in collaboration with leadership. Communicates with department staff regarding daily operations and provides feedback to medical directors and lab leadership as appropriate.

  • Prepares and communicates the staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage for daily workload and arrange for replacements to cover unanticipated absences.
  • Ensures optimal operation of equipment by following operational procedures and ensuring scheduled preventative maintenance is performed.
  • Interfaces directly with Technical Specialists when troubleshooting instrument issues and malfunctions. Also utilizes manufacturers’ technical support departments when determining solutions.
  • Is active in evaluating, selecting, and implementing new equipment and techniques in the department. Prepares and submits capital budget consistent with expectations. Coordinates with the Laboratory Director and Information Technology (IT) as appropriate.
  • Performs monthly quality assurance reviews to ensure all maintenance and quality control is performed and documented by staff.
  • Ensures that various epidemiologic reports are prepared, to include blood culture contamination rates, monthly nursing home reports, and annual antibiogram report.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by following established safety and exposure control policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for staff management, hiring and discipline in consultation with the Laboratory Director.

  • Bachelor of Sciences Degree with emphasis in Medical Technology. 
  • At least 3 years’ laboratory experience
  • Microbiology experience preferred

Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse (RN). 

  

As a Registered Nurse at MercyOne, you will promote excellence in nursing practice and a thriving professional practice environment, as evidenced by our designation as a Magnet HospitalConsistent with the American Nurses Association’s Nursing Social Policy Statement, we support the definition of professional nursing and the essential features of contemporary nursing practice. 

 

Schedule: 

  • Nurses work 12-hour shifts and include every third weekend and a holiday rotation. (Day shift: 0600–1830, Night shift: 1800–0630)

  • Schedules are made every six weeks ongoing. Staff are encouraged to select preferred shifts for scheduling. 

 

General Requirements: 

  • Adheres to the principles of caring and expected behaviors outlined in MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center’s Model of Caring and Trinity Health’s Code of Conduct, fostering a climate where all customers are treated in a manner consistent with MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center’s Mission and Values.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

  • Maintains a professional, collaborative work environment so as to foster a positive public image for MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center.

  • Knows and adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety, and medical information (i.e., HIPAA, Stark, etc.).

  • Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed.

  • Practice within the legal scope of a registered professional nurse as outlined in the Iowa Board of Nursing Practice Act and deliver competent care consistent with standards/policies defined by professional nursing organizations, MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center, and external regulators/accreditation/certifying organizations.

  • Utilize research and evidence-based practice standards in the delivery of patient care. 

  

Education: 

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

  • Must be a registered nurse and must hold an active license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa.

  • Certification by a nationally recognized nursing organization is preferred and strongly encouraged.

  • The registered nurse continuously seeks opportunities to enhance his or her own professional nursing practiceMembership in an appropriate professional nursing organization is recommended.

  • Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.

  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) will be required within 30 days of hire and every 2 years thereafter.
