WELDER 2ND SHIFT

Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Connects cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse, as specified by Welding Engineer or Welding Technician.
  • Starts power supply to produce electric current.
  • Strikes (forms) arc which generates heat to melt and deposit metal from electrode to workpiece and join edges of workpiece.
  • Manually guides electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle.
  • Welds in flat, horizontal or vertical positions.
  • Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.
  • Applies filler rod manually to supply weld metal.
  • Cleans or degreases weld joint or workpiece.
  • Repairs broken or cracked parts and fills holes.
  • Prepares broken parts for welding by grooving or scarring surfaces.
  • Chips off excess weld, slag, and splatter.
  • Preheats workpiece with hand torch or heating furnace.
  • Positions and clamps workpieces together or assembles them in jig or fixture.
  • Tacks assemblies together.

What Will You Do?

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, an Insulation Technician assembles high quality refrigeration systems utilizing engineered drawings, customer specific documentation and installation of refrigeration components.  The following are the essential duties and responsibilities you can expect to do:

  • Determines required neoprene insulation type, thickness and diameter per project documentation.
  • Configures, measures and cuts neoprene insulation to various lengths while utilizing various adhesive materials/methods
  • Assist in analyzing and resolving work problems related to product design layout
  • Work in unison with other departments to meet organizational goals
  • Assist in training additional team members
  • Responsible for maintaining insulation stocking levels
  • Maintain a positive work environment and reinforce the team approach with co-workers
  • Interact professionally with all departments, vendors, and customers for the betterment of Zero Zone

What Are We Looking For?

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of you for this position:

    • Minimum of high school diploma or GED is required.
    • Prompt and regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
    • Comfortable using hand/power tools and willing learn and take directions.

    • Previous manufacturing experience as well as refrigeration system component knowledge, is helpful.

Surgical Tech

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required with additional technical training in area of specialty.
  • Completion of Operating Room Technician training from an accredited institution and/or equivalent education and experience required.
  • Knowledge of and experience with aseptic and sterile techniques required.
  • Certification in Surgical Technology preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper decontamination and sterilization of surgical supplies required.
  • Knowledge of hospital inventory and stocking procedures helpful.

Work Hours

We are seeking a full-time (36 hours/week) Surgical Tech to work Monday-Friday from 7:00am-4:30pm (four days per week). This position includes an on-call rotation of 1 in 7.

Job Summary

The Surgical Tech plans for and responds to the material needs of the surgical caseload using aseptic and sterile techniques and proper decontamination.

Applicant must be able to read and write English.  Applicant must possess a Class A CDL and clean driving record.  Must be able to sit for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.   Hours are defined and follow a consistent schedule that may include weekend and/or holidays.

The successful candidate will conduct a pre-trip inspection of truck/trailer combination.    Deliveries may include boxes, cases or 80 gallon carts.  Dock or hoist deliveries will depend on the route.   All paperwork must be completed and returned at the end of the route.
