Job Overview
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review
- Maintain and manage case files, both physical and electronic
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions
- File documents with courts and ensure compliance with deadlines and legal procedures
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties as directed
- Schedule meetings, court dates, and appointments
- Track case progress and maintain accurate records
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
- Paralegal certification
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
