Part-Time Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Hours: ~20 hours per week

Schedule: Flexible between 7am-3pm M-F

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join a local company's team on a part‑time basis. This role involves operating commercial/industrial sewing equipment to produce high‑quality sewn products according to specifications. Key Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew, assemble, and finish products.
• Follow patterns, templates, and instructions for each job.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality in all stitching.
• Inspect completed products for defects and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Perform routine machine maintenance such as threading, cleaning, and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Track materials used and report inventory needs.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating an industrial sewing machine strongly preferred.
• Ability to sew accurately and consistently.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to sit, bend, and work with hands for extended periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to learn additional sewing tasks as needed.
